Chronology
I recently had a fellow
band member ask how many bands I had been in since I started
playing. Good question... I've wracked my brain and come up
with this list. If anyone knows something I've omitted, please let
me know. As you'll see, lots (most) of them suffered premature
deaths for various reasons. All of them, however have left me with
many fond memories, and a
heap o' laughs!
1960 First gig at
Ponkapoag Civic Association Teen Party with Fred Danner
on sax.
1961 Dance
band (no name) comprising fellow members of Canton High School
band. Also played the PCA dances. Fred
Danner, Larry Peyser, eter Camara, Jon Wendell, Brad Coady, Jeff
Coady, Paul Tinkham.
1964-1965 The Levis, 4
piece rock cover band playing Beatles, Kinks, Paul Revere & The
Raiders, etc. Ed Diamond, Barry Dores,
Chuck Silver.
1967-1968 R&B/Soul
cover band (sorry, I forget the name) playing clubs in South
Shore area of MA. Bob Hannon, Armond Cabral,
Randy Randolph, Fred Danner, Perry Plyter, Greg
Grajek.
1968-1970 Sound Investment,
